Frequently Asked Questions

What do you teach?

Guitar (beginner to advanced)
Bass (beginner to intermediate)
Piano (beginner)
Music theory (beginner to intermediate)

Our lessons will primarily cover the topics of interest to the student, although most students will also cover a small amount of music theory and possibly some very light music reading.

What if I'm a total beginner?

That's okay!

Even if you've never touched an instrument before, I can guarantee you'll be able to learn at just the right pace. In fact, I'd bet you'll be playing your first song before the end of our first lesson!

What are your rates?

$30 for 30 min. lessons
$50 for 60 min. lessons

Students can pay per lesson, per week, or per month. Pick the payment plan that's right for you!

What's your rescheduling policy?

No penalty w/24 hours notice

If you won't be able to make a lesson, just give us 24 hours notice or more and that meeting can be rescheduled to another date of your choosing.

Except in extraordinary circumstances, lessons cancelled within 24 hours of our expected meeting time will not be refunded.

Do I need my own instrument?

Guitar students: yes
Bass students: yes
Piano students: no

While I do have a variety of instruments available for emergency situations, I strongly encourage guitar and bass students to invest in at least a starter instrument that you can take home with you.

If you need help choosing an instrument, email us and we can help you choose an instrument you can grow with!

What should I bring to my lesson?

Just your instrument!

The only thing you absolutely need for your lessons is your instrument. However, many students prefer to bring a notepad to jot things down as we go.

How can I make payments?

Cash or Check
Square Cash

Payments can be made per lesson, per week, or per month. Each lesson's payment will be due before our meeting, or that time slot may be forfeit to another student.
